Bolasie joins Sporting Lisbon on loan
Yannick Bolasie had two spells away from
Everton last season
Yannick Bolasie has joined Sporting Lisbon on
loan for the rest of the season, Everton
announced on Monday.
The move came just in time for Bolasie, who
appears to have fallen down the pecking order at
Everton, with the move finalised on the European
clubs' deadline day.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international
has not featured for the Toffees this season, and
vented his frustration on social media on Sunday,
after being left out of the squad that beat Wolves
3-2 .
The 30-year-old had two temporary spells away
from Goodison Park last season. He played 21
matches in the Championship with Aston Villa,
and scored six times in 17 games for Anderlecht.
The winger signed for the Toffees from Crystal
Palace in August 2016, scoring twice in 32
appearances for the club.

Trippier hits out at Levy, Pochettino
Kieran Trippier left Tottenham this summer after
four years at the club
Kieran Trippier has hit out at Mauricio Pochettino
and Daniel Levy over the manner of his exit from
Tottenham, saying they failed to disclose their
plans to sell him.
The 28-year-old right-back joined Atletico Madrid
from Spurs for £21.7m in July, and said on
Monday he felt he had taken a "step up" .
However, Trippier admits he did not want to leave
north London, but had no choice when his
manager and chairman did not respond to his
requests for clarity.
He said: "I spoke to the manager about his plans
and I didn't get a 'yes' and I didn't get a 'no' - so
you get the impression.
"The manager didn't say he wanted to move me
on and I tried to speak to the chairman about it.
"It's not nice when you know the club want to sell
you. I heard rumours about them selling me and
it's not nice but it happens and it's football.
Trippier has started all three of Atletico Madrid's
La Liga games this season
"It's disappointing. I gave everything for the club
and I wanted to stay. I had another couple of
years left but everything happens for a reason.
"Me and the manager didn't leave on bad terms;
he has done a lot for me and I respect him
highly.
"It is just a few things - I tried to speak to the
chairman, I just didn't really get an answer."
Trippier enjoyed an outstanding World Cup for
England in 2018 but suffered a slump in form
last season - his final campaign at Spurs.
He was dropped by Gareth Southgate for the
Nations League this summer, but has now
returned for this month's European Qualifiers
following his move to Spain.
Trippier acknowledged his standards slipped but
believes Spurs may regret selling him, saying:
"Everyone has an opinion - you have, the pundits
have.
"It doesn't bother me but obviously the fans... I
set the bar high at the World Cup and they knew
how well I could do.
"Tottenham got rid of me at the wrong time, but I
struggled with injuries. I could have come back
fit and fresh but they made the decision and now
I'm at Atletico

Javier Harnandez leaves west Ham for Sevilla
Javier Hernandez has left West Ham to join Sevilla on a deal worth close to £8m.
The 31-year-old Mexico international, who has featured in two Premier League games this season, had 10 months remaining on his contract at the London Stadium.
Hernandez ended his time with the Hammers by scoring on his final appearance in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton on August 17.
The striker scored 17 goals in 63 appearances for West Ham since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017.
Hernandez's departure will free up money for West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini for a possible arrival in January or next summer.

Navas joins PSG, Areola Lone To Real
Keylor Navas has signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal, while Alphonse Areola has gone the other way on loan.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper has signed for an estimated €15m (£13.6m) fee on a four-year deal, after agreeing personal terms, and is set to become the first Costa Rican to play for the French champions.
Navas spent five years in Madrid, playing more than 100 times for Real and winning 11 trophies including three successive Champions League titles, and boss Zinedine Zidane admitted last month he did not want to lose him.
Navas said: "I'm really excited to sign for Paris Saint-Germain."I'm coming to France with high hopes - it is a very prestigious club and I am keen to be part of the adventure.
"I will do everything I can to help PSG win new titles, bringing all my experience and professionalism, and will also try to win the hearts of the Parisian fans, famous throughout Europe for their passion."
Areola - who played 75 times in goal for PSG - has moved to Madrid in a separate deal on a season-long loan with no obligation to buy, and remains contracted to the Parisian side until 2023.
The France international, 26, returns to La Liga after spending one season on loan at Villarreal in 2015/16 and will challenge Thibaut Courtois for the goalkeeping jersey at Real.
PSG let Gianluigi Buffon, who played 25 times last season in all competitions, rejoin Juventus this summer but have signed 19-year-old Marcin Bulka from Chelsea and Sergio Rico from Sevilla on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Bulka, who kept a clean sheet on his debut in PSG's 2-0 victory over Metz on Friday, and former Fulham loanee Rico will now provide back-up to Navas
